CRISISBRIEF
OSINT BRIEFING TERMINAL
Founder’s note

Why I built CrisisBrief

When a crisis breaks, the open-source picture is everywhere and nowhere at once — hundreds of reports across a dozen languages, half of them contradicting the other half, and almost none of them telling you how much to trust what you’re reading.

I study global affairs at Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, and I kept hitting the same wall: forming a defensible view meant hours of manual triage, and even then I couldn’t show my work.

CrisisBrief is the tool I wanted. It reads across sources and languages, grades each one on the Admiralty Code, and writes a brief where every claim carries its own confidence and its citation. Nothing is asserted that can’t be traced back to where it came from.

It isn’t here to tell you what to think. It’s here to give you a source-grounded starting point in minutes instead of hours — and to stay honest about what the evidence does and doesn’t support.
